This seminar is part of Women Raising the Curtain, a programme of educational and cultural events comprising seminars, film screenings, dance, literature, talks, and other activities featuring Paula Rego. Over two days, Paula Rego’s work will be analysed on the basis of her life experience and the context in which it has been lived, along with her status as a Portuguese artist, her relationship with the international art scene, and a close look at her facet as a female artist.
