Engraving with women

This activity is part of an educational and cultural programme comprising seminars, film screenings, dance, literature, talks, and other activities, all featuring Paula Rego.

Engraving is one of the techniques used by this artist to illustrate her tales and stories. Picasso also liked this way of transferring the ink on a plate onto paper. But what is an engraving exactly? Is it a technique for adults? In this activity, families will be able to work together to find out.

Aimed at children aged 4 to 12 years, accompanied by an adult, the activity includes an unguided tour of the temporary exhibition and all the materials needed for the workshop.
