THE MUSEUM IN MOVEMENT IS BACK WITH THE ‘TRANSFORMING CERAMICS’ WORKSHOP FOR FAMILIES

30/01/2023

Continuing with its programme ‘The museum in movement’, the Museo Picasso Málaga is once again offering families with young artists a pottery activity to enjoy a different kind of morning, starting at 11:30 a.m. The workshop, Transforming Ceramics, is aimed at children and adults, who will be able to create different characters and shapes with paint, using individual pieces of earthenware as a basis. The activity begins with a visit to the rooms of the MPM to see Picasso’s ceramics firsthand, before heading for the workshop, where participants get to create their own works.

On Saturday, February 11, the Museo Picasso Málaga is once again offering families with young artists a pottery activity to enjoy a different kind of morning, starting at 11:30 a.m.: the Transforming Ceramics workshop.

Registration is now open for this new activity, which is part of the ‘Museum in movement’ programme. You can enroll on the museum’s website or at the ticket office. The cost is 5 euros per person (including children) and includes a tour of the museum and all the necessary materials.

Pablo Picasso produced ceramic pieces in very unexpected forms, such as faces, goats, and insects. In this workshop, adults and children have the chance to create various characters and forms using paint, using individual pieces of earthenware as their basis. The activity begins with a visit to the MPM’s galleries to see Picasso’s ceramics firsthand before heading for the workshop, where participants get to create their own works.

This activity is supported by Fundación ‘la Caixa’ and Grupo Fila Iberia.
