Museo Picasso Málaga closes 2014 with over 410,000 visitors
Museo Picasso Málaga will be refreshing its permanent collection exhibition rooms in 2017. A selection of 38 masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, the exhibition Joaquín Torres-García: an Arcadian Modern, and the archaeological site can still be visited throughout this period.
From 9th January, work will be carried out on the permanent collection rooms and improvements will be made to the lighting. The results will be visible as from March, and will significantly help visitors to appreciate the details of Pablo Picasso’s work.
From 16th January onwards, the temporary exhibition rooms on the ground floor will show a selection of 38 masterpieces by Pablo Picasso from the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso (FABA). As from 5th February 2017, visitors will be able to continue to see the exhibition Joaquín Torres-García: an Arcadian Modern. Other museum spaces, such as the projection room, the Crommelynck printing press, the book and gift shop and the archaeological site will remain open to the public.
