Eye Games

Collection

The exhibition Eye Games. Collection looked at the representation of the gaze in Pablo Picasso’s work. This representation is in turn directly influenced by the gaze that the artist himself directed towards his subject in each work, and it enables us to follow Picasso’s technical and stylistic development.

Thanks to the gazes present in the 43 works from the MPM’s Collection that made up this exhibition, we could appreciate how rich this theme was throughout Picasso’s body of work. Illustrated books from the MPM Library and a selection of photographs from the Roberto Otero Archive completed the exhibition, in which Museo Picasso Malaga showed us some of its lesser-known holdings.
