Toy Factory

Based on the exhibition Joaquín Torres-García: The Arcadian Modern and echoing the artist’s own interest in designing toys to stimulate creative development, Museo Picasso Málaga has invited socially vulnerable collectives to take part in an activity that combines visits to the exhibition rooms with practical work in the workshop.

More than 250 people have participated in this project, in which the Museum has also counted on the generous collaboration of a selection of local artists whose work is displayed at the Museum main entrance. These artists are Chema Lumbreras, Javier Calleja, Eugenio Chicano, Rafael Alvarado, María Ángeles Díaz Barbado, Elena Laverón and José Manuel Cabra de Luna.
