Book your place here, soon.

The Museo Picasso Málaga presents the exhibition The Paris of Brassaï. Photographs of the city that Picasso Loved. It will show the work of one of the most famous European photographers of the first half of the 20th century, who, with his work, helped to create the universal image of eternal Paris. Based on this exhibition, our Museo Picasso Málaga workshops for adults are back. Cyanotype is one of the earliest photographic printing techniques that revealed images on all kinds of surfaces. Used by artists, botanists and architects for over two centuries, the results of this technique are monochrome negatives in cyan blue.

The process uses a solution of ferric ammonium citrate and the potassium ferricyanide applied onto a surface of paper, fabric or wood, and then exposed to an ultraviolet light source. The components react to the light, turning the support bright blue. Each participant can make use of this reaction to produce negative prints.

Approximately two hours long, the price for each workshop is 15€ per person. This includes a non-guided visit to the temporary exhibition, and all the necessary workshop materials.
