The Night of Museums

From 8pm till midnight, the MPM celebrated The Night of Museums. The aim of this event was to propose a different way of visiting museums. Through different activities such as live music and numerous guided tours, the MPM joined an initiative in which close to seventeen hundred museums from all over Europe took part in 2006, including the Musée del Louvre, the Centre National d’Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou and the Musée d’Orsay, in Paris; the Galleria Nazionale de Arte Moderna of Rome and the Museo del Prado of Madrid.
