Workshop visit aimed at schools (second and third cycles of primary education)

Throughout his entire artistic career, Picasso was concerned with examining the human body in a variety of formats and genres, employing all available materials in his sculptures: wood, bronze, iron, cement, steel, and plaster.

In this activity, primary-school pupils are encouraged to carry on exploring outside the classroom in the context of the exhibition Picasso Sculptor. Matter and Body, by trying their hand at assemblage using materials as different as wire, polystyrene, cardboard, wood, and cork, among others.
