13th Anniversary

Routes to help you get to know more about the Palacio de Buenavista, and guided tours of the permanent collection that focused on the relationship and similarities between Picasso and Torres-García. These were MPM’s proposals for celebrating its 13th Anniversary.

11.00 am. MPM Walks A walk to look at the architectural features of the Palacio de Buenavista and the archaeological site in the ground beneath the museum.

Capacity: 25 people

12.00 pm. Getting to know the Collection A guided tour around selected works in the MPM permanent collection. Visitors will also see a series of photographs and publications that link the work of Picasso and that of Joaquín Torres-García, the artist who features in the current temporary exhibition.

Two groups of 25 people. Language: Spanish and English

1.00 pm. MPM Walks A walk to look at the architectural features of the Palacio de Buenavista and the archaeological site in the ground beneath the museum.

These tours are included in the price of admission and last approximately one hour. You can register at the ticket office as from one hour before the tour. The tours cater for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 visitors.
