Opening hours

September-October: open daily 10am-7pm
November-February: open daily 10am-6pm
March-June: open daily 10am-7pm
July-August: open daily 10am-8pm

Tickets are on sale up to 30 minutes before closing time. Visitors will be asked to begin leaving the galleries 10 minutes before closing time. 

Access to the store and bookstore is allowed up to 15 minutes before the museum's closing.

Christmas: 24th and 31st December and 5th January, 10am-3pm
Closed on 25th December, 1st and 6th January

Pablo Picasso. New Collection: 8 € (reduced fee 6 €).

Temporary Exhibition Calder-Picasso: 6,5 (reduced fee 4 €).

Pablo Picasso. New Collection + Calder-Picasso: 12 € (reduced fee 7 €).

 

REDUCED FEES

Visitors over 65, holders of Euro Youth Card and students under 26 with valid identification.

FREE ADMISSION

People with functional diversity with valid identification for disability (a person accompanying the disabled person will be entitled to a free ticket when their assistance is required to facilitate the visit), unemployed registered at SEPE, youths aged 16 and younger children (under 13 accompanied by an adult), students of the Universidad de Málaga with valid identification, credited teachers, ICOM Members, 

Free admission: every Sunday the last two opening hours (up to 30 minutes before closing time), Day of Andalusia (28 February), International Museum Day (18 May) and World Tourism Day (27 September).

 

AUDIOGUIDE

Audioguide service is included in the entrance fee in ten languages for the permanent Collection (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish) and two for temporary exhibitions (English and Spanish). In cases where admission is free, there will be a charge for this service of € 1.

On foot

The Museum is located in the city’s historic centre, very close to the cathedral, the Alcazaba and the Roman Theatre.

By bus

The closest stops to the museum are south of the ‘Paseo del Parque-Ayuntamiento’
