Opening hours

The Museo Picasso Málaga will be closed to the public until further notice in accordance with the instructions issued by the Junta de Andalucía on the control of the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19). This temporary measure has been adopted to guarantee the health of both visitors to the Museum and its staff. Meanwhile, we will continue working, preparing upcoming exhibitions and cultural activities.

 

March-June: open daily 10am-7pm
July-August: open daily 10am-8pm
September-October: open daily 10am-7pm
November-February: open daily 10am-6pm

 

The ticket office and entrance to the museum are open until half an hour before closing time. Visitors will be asked to begin leaving the galleries 10 minutes before closing time. Access to the store and bookstore is allowed up to 15 minutes before the museum's closing.

Admission fees

-Collection: 9 € (reduced fee 7 €). 
-Temporary Exhibition: Genealogies of Art 8 € (reduced fee 6 €). 
-Combinated ticket: Collection + Genealogies of Art 12 € (reduced fee 9 €).

REDUCED FEES

Visitors over 65, holders of Euro Youth Card and students under 26 with valid identification.

HELP US TO CARE FOR ART

Before your visit:
For security reasons it is not permitted to enter the Museum with rucksacks, bags or any other object too large to pass through the scanner or which is sharp (umbrellas, selfie sticks, etc) as these are a risk for the works of art
The Museum does not have a place to leave means of transport such as skates, tricycles, bicycles, etc
It is not permitted to enter the Museum with food and drink or to smoke inside the Museum
It is not permitted to bring animals, except guide dogs.

 

During your visit:
To ensure the safety of the works of art, please do not touch them and please keep a reasonable distance away from them
Photography is not permitted in certain indicated galleries and in unauthorised areas
Please put your mobile phone onto silence when visiting the exhibitions or when attending a film showing or concert in order to respect other visitors
Please keep your ticket on you at all times

GUIDED TOURS

FREE ADMISSION

People with functional diversity with valid identification for disability (a person accompanying the disabled person will be entitled to a free ticket when their assistance is required to facilitate the visit), unemployed registered at SEPE, youths aged 16 and younger children (under 13 accompanied by an adult), students of the Universidad de Málaga with valid identification, credited teachers, ICOM Members, 

Free admission: every Sunday the last two opening hours (up to 30 minutes before closing time), Day of Andalusia (28 February), International Museum Day (18 May) and World Tourism Day (27 September).

AUDIOGUIDE

Audioguide service is included in the entrance fee in ten languages for the permanent Collection (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish) and two for temporary exhibitions (English and Spanish). In cases where admission is free, there will be a charge for this service of € 1.

 

HOW TO GET TO MUSEO PICASSO MÁLAGA?

On foot

The Museum is located in the city’s historic centre, very close to the cathedral, the Alcazaba and the Roman Theatre.

By bus

The closest stops to the museum are south of the ‘Paseo del Parque-Ayuntamiento’
