Holiday Workshops

26, 27 and 28 Mar. 2018

A visit to the exhibition And Fellini Dreamed of Picasso will be the daily starting point for MPM’s new school holiday workshops (in Spanish). Then, back in the workshop area, the youngsters will dive head-first into the world of dreams, using a variety of art techniques such as painting, engraving and photography to construct their own film stories.

Like creating a storyboard or a graphic script, the participants will work on subjects that were of interest to both artists, focusing in particular on their creative processes. During each session, they will be shown excerpts of Fellini’s movies and talk about Picasso’s paintings and engravings. Every day, with group talks, the teachers will guide the youngsters though themes and techniques, linking Federico Fellini’s and Pablo Picasso’s artistic processes with the work that they carry out in the workshop.

The dates are Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, and Wednesday 28th March, from 10am to 2pm. For children and young people from 4 to 15 years, participants will be divided into age-groups and will work simultaneously, experimenting and combining several artistic methods.

The price of the full workshop is 40 euros per child, or 15 euros single days.
A 15% discount is available for siblings.

Limited seating.
