Workshop visits on Pablo Picasso. New Collection:

1. Turn your head!
Second and third form of infant level and first cycle of primary
The pictures hanging in the museum are inhabited by strange creatures imagined by Picasso and humans who look a bit like animals... After getting to know these characters and adding their own ideas, the children will have a chance to design their own fantastical creatures.

2. Assemblage
Second and third cycle of primary
Just like Picasso, the pupils will put together sundry objects and materials to make sculptures, using the assemblage technique. Frequently seen in Picasso’s work, this technique serves as is the thread linking the visit and the workshop activity.

3. Etch Yourself
Secondary and bachillerato level

Throughout history, self-portraits have served artists as a means to project themselves to others, sometimes as mere physical representations, other times as mirrors to look at. In the museum the genre of portraiture, portraying ourselves with cameras and reproducing our photos in engravings, will help us to further explore this genre.
