A Day with Fellini

Saturday 17 Feb. 2018

Regarding the new exhibtion And Fellini Dreamed of Picasso, we are proposing a series of activities that the participants can enjoy in different areas of the museum. Many of them will be able to carry out the activities at their own pace, and other people visiting the museum will also be able to get involved. Staff from the Education Department will be on hand in each of the activity areas at all times.

Let’s go to the Circus! Family workshop
Continuous activity from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Room XII
The world of the circus, which fascinated Picasso and Fellini, is the starting point for this activity. After visiting the exhibition rooms, participants will design their own circus scenes, using a variety of different materials.

Moving pictures. Family workshop
Continuous activity from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Room XII
Drawing pictures and making them move is easy! We’ll create cylinders filled with pictures, just like the old zoetropes, and tell stories that are like little films.

Caricatures. Family workshop
Continuous activity from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Room XII
The exhibition rooms are full of funny faces imaged by Picasso and Fellini. After visiting the exhibition we’ll learn to sketch funny characters, following simple guidelines.

Guided tour of the exhibition. Adult visitors
From 12 noon to 1.00pm. Limited number of places.
A guided tour of selected works in the exhibition And Fellini Dreamed of Picasso, examining the key concepts of the show.

Activities are free with the price of admission, which is always free for children.
